Proud to share some exciting news: The investigation into mass shootings that I’ve led at Mother Jones, begun the day of the attack in Aurora, Colorado, nearly a year ago, has recently been honored with multiple journalism awards: the 2013 Izzy Award, a Society of Professional Journalists award for reporting excellence, and a two-time finalist for the Global Editors Network data journalism awards.
You can read my series of stories from the project and examine all of our data, charts, maps, and additional coverage on MoJo’s special report page.
